Three Ways to Find Articles

Databases will help you find articles on a topic. Search them by keyword or subject.

E-Journal Portal will tell you if a particular journal is available online via the SLU Libraries.

SLU Libraries Catalog Journal Search will tell you if the SLU Libraries have a journal online, in print, or on microfilm. 

How to access an article

1) start on the library homepage (even if you are using PubMed)  

2) Use the E-Journal portal, SLUth, or a database to find an journal or article

3) click on. 

4) enter your SLU credentials 

5) you should now be able to download/print

     If an article isn't available online, you may request it via:
     ILLiad: Digital Document Delivery.  (you will need to fill out a one time account)

Use E-Journal Portal to Find a Specific Article

When you know the article information (e.g., article title, author name, journal title, volume number, issue number, and page number, etc.), you can go directly to the E-journal Portal to get it. View this video to find out how.
