Writing and Citing

Style guides are available in each of the University Libraries. Some of the guides available include
  • Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition  [Pius Level 1 BF 76.7 P83 2010] - for Psychology, Education, and other Social Sciences
  • MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 7th edition [Pius Level 1 LB 2369 .G53 2009] - for English and some other Humanities
  • Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition [Pius Level 1  Z253 .U69 2010] - used in a variety of disciplines, primarily humanities
  • Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations : Chicago Style for Students and Researchers [Pius Level 1  LB2369 .T8 2007]. 
  • The Bluebook : A Uniform System of Citation,19th edition [Law Reference KF 245 .U54] - for Law
  • The AMA Manual of Style, 10th edition, 2007 [MCL Reference WZ 345 A511 2007 and Pius Reference R 119 .A533 2007] - for Medicine
