Instructions or links to instructions explaining how to create persistent links to journals and articles by source, i.e. database, ejournal collection, and ebook.

Creating a Stable URL to a journal title in JSTOR

  1. Click on BROWSE --> By Title
  2. Select the Journal Tab
  3. Locate the journal you want
  4. Right click on the journal title for which you want a direct link and select "Copy Link Address" or "Copy Link Location" depending upon your browser.
  5. See below for an example.

Copied link is http://www.jstor.org.ezp.slu.edu/action/showPublication?journalCode=peabjeduc

Remove the ".ezp.slu.edu" from within the URL.

For off-campus access, add the EZproxy prefix, http://ezp.slu.edu/login?url= to the front of the copied URL.

Direct, stable URL becomes http://ezp.slu.edu/login?url=http://www.jstor.org/action/showPublication?journalCode=peabjeduc
