A service of the Internet Archive, Open Library has digital copies of many books available for viewing online and for digital checkout (with creation of an account). Books are available for check out one a one-to-one model (one print book held = one digital book available for checkout). The books included are mostly published from the 1960s and forward and include many books for which eBooks cannot be purchased.

All full text and all in the public domain.
