Systematic Review

Are you considering developing a systematic review on a topic, but unsure where to start? This guide will help you to get started.

PRISMA

PRISMA is the standard for reporting a systematic review.  You will often see this as a flow chart.  Journals should ask you to include a detailed report of your methods including search string, database, platform (if applicable), dates searched and dates that the searches were performed.  Please note that PRISMA is not the methodology.  Cochrane (or JBI or Campbell) are the guidelines for conducting a review.  PRISMA is for reporting your review.  Think of Cochrane as a map of point a to point b and PRISMA as the actual route you took.
