How to Create Stable URLs

General format for a journal-level link for SLU subscribed content: 

http://ezp.slu.edu/login?url=http://search.proquest.com/publication/xxxxx/?accountid=8065
    
1. Locate the  journal in the ProOuest interface for the publication.

• Go to the Publications page in ProQuest at http://ezp.slu.edu/login?url=http://search.proquest.com/publicationbrowse?accountid=8065
• Search or Browse for the publication's title.  Example:  Wall Street Journal
• Click on the Jounal Title and copy the URL from the Location bar.  See example below.

2. Locate the Content ID in the URL highlighted above in red for the Wall Street Journal.

• Insert the Content ID in the general format for a journal-level link to get the URL for the publication.
