How to access an article

1) Start on the library homepage (even if you are using PubMed)  

2) Use the E-Journal portal, SLUth, or a database to find an journal or article

3) Click on   

4) Enter your SLU credentials 

5) You should now be able to download/print the article. 


If an article isn't available online, you may request it via: ILLiad: Digital Document Delivery.
(you will need to create an account the first time you use ILLiad)

Three Ways to Find Articles

Databases will help you find articles on a topic. Search them by keyword or subject.

E-Journal Portal will tell you if a particular journal is available online via the SLU Libraries.

SLU Libraries Catalog Journal Search will tell you if the SLU Libraries have a journal online, in print, or on microfilm. 

FindIt@SLU Button

button provides links from library databases to library subscriptions to full text articles. If an article isn't available online, you may request it via Interlibrary Loan.
