Are you a collaborative leader who is passionate about providing strong information literacy and research services?  Do you have experience in instructional or programmatic assessment?

Saint Louis University Libraries invites you to apply for the position of Head of Research and Teaching for Pius Memorial Library. The successful candidate will lead and build upon the work of a talented team of subject librarians to envision goals, set priorities, and direct implementation for library instruction and research support. This work is critical to the successful implementation of the Libraries Strategic Plan while supporting the university’s R1 status and increasing diversity among our student body. 

This position also has core responsibilities in fostering strong relationships with faculty and university stakeholders, providing assessment and evaluation of services, and serving as subject liaison.

This position reports to the Associate Dean of Collections & Strategy, serves on the Library Management Team, and will work collaboratively with the Head of Research and Information Services at the Medical Center Library. 

Key information:

  • Starting salary from $75,000, negotiable based on relevant experience.
