Transferring custom folders to My Dashboard in the new EBSCOhost

Content in the My Custom folder from your MyEBSCO account will not migrate automatically.

Before June 4, 2025: move any of the items below from your My Custom folder to My Folder in Classic EBSCOhost. This will ensure the data is migrated to the New UI. See: Instructions for My Custom folder content pre-migration.

Items that will be migrated:

  • Articles
  • Images
  • Videos
  • eBooks
  • eBook Holds
  • eBook Checkouts

Note: Saved Searches, Search Alerts, and Journal Alerts will not be automatically migrated. You will need to follow the instructions below after June 4, 2025.

After June 4, 2025: EBSCOhost will present you with a way to download your data for archiving. You will then need to manually re-create any data that you want to continue to have in your MyEBSCO account in the New EBSCO. This functionality will be available until December 31, 2025.

See: How can I download the data from MyEBSCO custom folders in the classic EBSCO interfaces?

See the help articles here under the section "Using the Dashboard" section for instructions on recreating this data in the New EBSCO UI. Folders have become Projects in the New UI.
