Reading Legal Citations

Legal citations are not as difficult to read as some think.  Citations follow a pattern accross most legal publications be it a reporter, a law review, a statute, or a regulation.  The citations are composed of numbers and letters sometimes followed a date in parens.  Citations are how legal information is located, the citation informs you of the source and location within the source.
