All Saint Louis University Libraries use ILLiad to enable users to place, track, and keep a history of interlibrary loan/document delivery requests from a personal online account. All transactions, including renewals, are done online.
Each Library has it's own portal to request information via Interlibrary. Links to the portals are provided below.
More information is available on the Interlibrary Loan webpage.
Why does the MOBIUS catalog look different?
On April 18th the MOBIUS catalog will be upgraded and the look of the catalog will change.
Many libraries across the region are members of the MOBIUS Consortium. These libraries all share a technology platform dating back over twenty-five years! While there have been many updates since then these libraries are in the final stages of changing their backend systems to something more modern and flexible and part of this is a new, combined MOBIUS catalog.
Can I still request materials?
Yes! However, while MOBIUS is being upgrading their back-end systems, you will need to request items through Interlibrary Loan. Starting on June 12, you will be able to use the MOBIUS catalog to place requests again.
The catalog will still be online and searchable during this period.
Why can't I request materials via MOBIUS for about a month?
It will take time to migrate data from the old MOBIUS system to the new system.
I have materials checked out. Do I need to return them back by a certain date?
MOBIUS has a firm return deadline of May 17 in order prevent data loss as they move to the new system. However, SLU Libraries is working with partner libraries to prevent most items from needing to be returned early. A handful of items will likely still need to be returned by the MOBUIS deadline (May 17). SLU Libraries will contact patrons who are affected by an early return date.
