Keywords is doing a keyword search for an article. Boolean searches can be done.
To set up:
- From the homepage, click the My Keywords tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Then press the Edit icon at the top-right.
- Enter keyword(s) that you would like to add.

- Click on the check-mark at the top to save any changes made.
Boolean:
- And is equal to the + (plus) symbol.
- Not is equal to the - (minus) symbol.
- Add an asterisk (*) at end of a word to include word stems
Neuro* includes Neurology, Neuroscientist, Neurological, etc
- Near is equal to putting a search query in quotes, e.g., "Brain Surgery". You're essentially telling the search engine that you want all of these words, in this specific order or this specific phrase.
- AND is the default setting of the search engine — meaning, it will return matches for if the article includes all of the words you enter.
