SSM St Louis area access

If you are a SSM clinicians (and do not have a SLU affiliation) at St. Louis locations... 

You can still request articles through the SLU Libraries. 

How to request an article:
  1. Use either of these links to search PubMed or CINAHL 

  2. When you find an article, click on the blue 'Find it At SLU' button 

  3. Under the 'Access or Request Full Text' optionslook for the heading that says 'SSM Users Request this article' (see the screenshot below). 

  4. Clicking this link will take you to ILLiad (our document delivery service) where you will need to create an account 

  5. Please use your SSM email and use 777772017 as the 9-digit ID Number

  6. The database should then prepopulate the form with the article info. You do not need to type in the citation information.

  7. Once you have filled out the form, you will get an email saying your article is available and a link to access the article in Illiad. Your article will be under the heading: Electronically Received Articles to view.

SSM users outside of St. Louis

For SSM users, library services are not available outside of the St. Louis area. 

Our online resources are limited by contract to current SLU faculty, students, and staff.
