Off-Campus Access

As a Current SLU student, faculty, or  staff member, you have 24/7 access to e-journals, e-books, and databases is available through our libraries. 

When you are off-campus, you will need to use your SLU Net ID and Password to access resources. You may also be prompted to verify your identity through Okta. 

How to access an article

You should always start at the Medical Center Library (MCL) homepage*

*Even if you are using PubMed
  1. From the library homepage, use the Journal Title search, SLUth, or a database to find an journal or article.

  2. Look for the blue 'Find it @ SLU' button or an Access Now (pdf) button. 

  3. You may be prompted to enter your SLU login credentials. 

  4. You should now be able to download/print the article.

Don't worry, you can request a pdf copy of the full text of the article through ILLiad, our Digital Document Delivery service. Use the links below to learn about about ILLiad and place a request from the Medical Center Library.
