Finding Articles Searching Journal Databases

The links below are good databases to search for journal articles regarding Jesuit education. You will need to login with your user name and password to access the databases. Search using keywords i.e, "Jesuits and higher education" or "Catholic Schools and college students". In addition try searching using subject headings from the database thesaurus (subject headings may vary from database to database).

Academic Search Premier 1975-
This multidisciplinary database provides indexing and abstracting for 8,040 journals (6,679 are peer-reviewed) with over 4,060 in full text. Covers subjects found in college and university curriculums, including chemistry and related subjects.

Indexes journal articles, book reviews, and essays from books. Articles available in over 50 theology journals are linked to their full text.

One of the major databases for education, this resources indexes over 770 periodicals (over 400 peer-reviewed) and provides full text for 350 journals as far back as 1996. Some books and yearbooks are also included.
