Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY) and Tests in Print (TIP)

The Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY) is one of the oldest and best-known test resources. Published every three years, it contains about 3,000 reviews of a selection of commercially available English-language tests newly developed or substantially revised since the publication of the previous edition. MMY is available online via the SLU Libraries from 1938 (1st ed.)-date (21st ed./2021).  Print editions through the 16th (2006) are shelved at Z 5814 .P8 B932.  The Buros website provides a list of the tests indexed in each volume from the 9th ed. (1985) forward.

Tests In Print (TIP), a companion to MMY that is integrated into the MMY database, is  "a comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language."  TIP is in its ninth edition currently; the print volume of this edition, along with the older print TIP editions, are shelved at LB 3051 .T454.  For more information about these and related publications, see the Tests Reviews and Information section of the Buros Center for Testing home page.
